Snow

Gently the snowflakes flutter down,

Covering the woodland with a white gown.

Can you count the snow that falls?

Children turn it into balls.

See the children on the ice,

They think it is very nice.

Do dare go out and play?

Don’t be a coward!

Listen to what I say.

Down the slopes the children slide,

On the lakes they skate and glide.

Some children smash the ice,

That is also very nice.

We have all enjoyed the snow,

We are sad that it must go.

The snowmen will all melt away,

But snow will come another day.
